The 2018 FIFA World Cup is just a few months away and in this article, we will take a look at and preview the teams competing from Group G. Group G teams will consist of Belgium, England, Panama and Tunisia. Each of these teams will play in Group play from June 18 thru June 28. The Winners of Group G will face the Runners-Up of Group H. The Runners-Up in Group G will advance and take on the Winners of Group H.
Belgium is without a doubt one of the top teams in the FIFA World Cup. They are ranked #5 in the FIFA rankings and will be making their 13th FIFA World Cup appearance. They last appeared in the World Cup in 2014 and their best finish was in 1986, when they finished in 4th place. The Belgium National Team is led by Roberto Martinez, who replaced Marc Wilmots in 2016. The issue with Martinez is he has never appeared in a FIFA Tournament, either as a player or a coach, so the question must be posed if the lack of experience will cost them in the big game?
England is a staple in the FIFA World Cup. They are currently ranked 15th in FIFA rankings and will be looking to repeat their 1966 performance when they won the FIFA World Cup. England appeared here in 2014 and are one of the top 5 most experienced teams playing in the FIFA World Cup. They are led by coach Gareth Southgate, who took over in September 2016. England has appeared in 6 consecutive World Cups and are a team to keep your eye on if they make it out of group play.
Panama will be appearing in their first ever FIFA World Cup. They won 2-1 over Costa Rica at CONCACAF, which locked in their spot to play in Russia. They are coached by Hernan Dario Gomez, who has been with the team since 2014. The Colombian has shocked the world and led Panama to their debut in the World Cup.
Tunisia will be making their return to the FIFA World Cup after a 12 year hiatus, winning African Group A to secure their spot. They will be playing in the 5th FIFA World Cup and have never won a match past the Group Stage. They are led by Nabil Maaloul, who took over the National Team in April 2017.

Spooky Express Winning Picks for World Cup Group G
This group will be a showdown between England and Belgium. The big European teams should dominate this one and all eyes will be on Belgium, arguably the most entertaining squad to watch in world soccer right now. Both teams are star-studded with world-class players: England has Harry Kane, Raheem Sterling, Dele Alli, Gary Cahill, Joe Hart, and Jamie Vardy, while Belgium boasts Eden Hazard, Romelu Lukaku, and Thibaut Courtois.
Expect a true Premier League clash: Many of the athletes are actually club teammates with opposing players. We think that Belgium will edge out a win over England on the anticipated June 28 face-off, and England will finish a close second.
Tunisia fought hard to get through Africa’s strange qualifying process, while Panama will also find life tough in its World Cup debut after the drama of CONCACAF’s final day and they will beat out lowly Tunisia for 3rd place.
