The #6 ranked Michigan State Spartans (15-2) travel to Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska to take on the (13-4) Nebraska Cornhuskers in a Big Ten battle. Michigan State has already made a statement winning their first six conference games and that is good enough to put them in a tie for first place with state rival Michigan who is also 6-0 in the conference.
Nebraska has not fared as well with a 3-3 conference record. That puts them right in the middle of the pack 3 games out of first place. Michigan State comes in winning 10 straight games, while Nebraska has won it’s past two games.
Michigan St last played on Sunday winning easily at Penn St 71-56. Nebraska in their previous game on Monday pulled off a big upset at 25th ranked Indiana 66-51.

Home streak continue as Huskers upset Spartans
This is a tough game to call. One of the things telling me to take Nebraska is the line. The number six team in the country is only giving an unranked team one point. This is what I call “a read the line special”.
The linemakers feel there is a great shot at an upset or this line would be 5-6 points. It is a long season and even great teams are going to lose games, especially on the road. I am not saying MSU is great, but they are definitely the better team between the two.
Michigan State’s offense is due to cool down and Nebraska at home plays a shutdown defense. This game has upset written all over it. As I type this, the more I am liking it. Love the Huskers!
