Xavier in better form. Gets cover….could pull upset!!
Xavier is on the outside looking in right now. Villanova knows they are going dancing. Villanova is projected as number 6 seed in the tourney. Xavier needs to win this one and then the championship game to get in. In general, I am pretty sure Villanova is the better team.
Right at this moment, I am not so sure. Villanova really slumped the last month of the season while Xavier probably is playing it’s best ball. They have more motivation coming into this one as well. Every year we have team that wins their conference tourney who is not the best team in the conference.
I get the feeling that may be the case here. I just do not like the way Villanova is playing right now. With Xavier winning the most recent game between the two, they certainly have the confidence they can do it again. I really love the X-men to get the cover. I think they also have a very reasonable shot a winning the game.
