The word on the street a few weeks ago was that the King of Instagram Dan Bilzerian had made an appearance on “The Thirst Lounge”, a live streaming Twitch channel owned by multi-billionaire and professional poker player Bill Perkins. Bilzerian had been caught playing on Perkin's account “gastrader” on several occasions in violation of the site's terms and conditions.
This past weekend Bilzerian was again streaming from Bill Perkins Twitch channel while playing $10/$20 heads-up poker and while he was playing live, you'll see the moment in which the account gets banned and suspended by the operator. The comments from both players clearly indicate that they knew this would happen eventually.
“They f**kin' kicked us off” said Bilzerian, Perkins responded “Oh, we got booted, finally?”.
Americas Cardroom's terms and conditions state: “You may only have one account with ACR and shall only use the Service using such single account. Playing poker through multiple accounts, concurrently or not, with or without the account owner’s consent, is a violation of the Terms and Conditions of Use for any person involved in such activity”.
Bilzerian's lifestyle has drawn over 20 million followers to his Instagram page where he's known as the King of Instagram, showing off his luxury cars, beautiful women and expensive guns. But one thing that has been criticized a lot by other professional players is his poker skills, as described by Doug Polk via YouTube in a recent streaming session.
The truth is that none of this high profile poker players are exempt when it comes to violations to the Americas Cardroom security policies. Bill Perkins had been streaming live on his Twitch channel for quite some time and bringing a lot of traffic to the site. Having Dan Bilzerian on some of these streaming sessions definitively raised the audience and they were beginning to offer tournament freerolls for their followers.
Unfortunately none of this matters when you are breaking the law.
