Best Fanduel DFS Golf Plays For Milli Maker Week
With this week being Milli Maker, this may be the best week of the year to jump on board with Fanduel and Earl has some key plays in DFS Golf!
This week, many DFS Golf players will venture over and try their luck at the “Milli Maker” which means that there will be plenty of opportunities to cash in on some other sites such as FanDuel. I finally signed up for FanDuel a few weeks ago and got started with their new PGA Golf DFS. I must admit, it isn’t my favorite layout or style for DFS golf but I do still enjoy playing so this week, we will take a look at The Masters and see if we can find a few value plays that you can cash in on.
We will give you 5 golfers that we recommend you playing and 3 golfers we recommend you fade! Let’s take a look at our golfers.
*Hideki Matsuyama $9,700 – Matsuyama is coming off back to back T7 or better at The Masters and I totally expect him to contend for the trophy at the end. I will be playing him in 3rd and 4th round play.
*Jon Rahm $9,300 – This is Rahm’s first year at The Masters and the ole tale about first-time golfers not winning at Augusta National. That being said, Rahm is playing very good golf right now and is well rounded enough to contend in The Masters. Rahm will be played as a 3rd and 4th round play.
*Bill Haas $7,100 – One thing I’ve learned about FanDuel PGA is that for your 3rd and 4th round players, it is extremely important that your 4 golfers make the cut. Therefore, you have to put guys in this category that make the cut all the time. Bill Haas has made every cut this year and has never missed the cut at The Masters. Good enough for me, he will be on all my teams.
*Gary Woodland $6,900 – If the weather plays true to the forecasters, then the bombers are going to do well on Thursday and Friday. They are calling for winds in the 20-30 MPH range so you’re gonna want guys that can crush the ball. I’m going with Woodland on 1st and 2nd round play due to weather and his ability to drive the ball a substantial distance.
*Shane Lowry $6,800 – Lowry is known for playing well in bad weather and with the forecast calling for high winds and cloudy conditions on Thursday and Friday, he can be a great value play at $6800! Lowry is a great value for a 1st and 2nd round with the weather playing out rough.
*Henrik Stenson $9,200 – Stenson is coming off back to back missed cuts. Until he proves he can get back to the golf we are used to seeing him play, I am fading him!
*Phil Mickelson $9,100 – Mickelson is going to be very highly owned across the board in all DFS platforms. He has made the cut all 8 tournaments he has played in this year and his course history at Augusta National is second to none! I think Phil is going to do ok but I’m not certain he is worth risking taking into consideration his elevated level of ownership. –
*Justin Thomas $8,900 – Thomas has played at The Masters one time and finished 37th place. He won his first 2 tournaments of the year but followed them up with 3 missed cuts out of 6 tournaments. His reliability is too uncertain to rely on him so I will fade him!
