Top 3 pitchers in no particular order:

Alex Wood:

The Dodgers enter tonight’s game as the biggest favorites on the board and the Marlins enter tonight’s game projected to score the fewest runs of any team. Wood is undefeated to start the season with a 4-0 record and the Marlins haven’t been able to stay healthy this season. I look for Wood to pick up the win tonight. Wood has a 2.27 ERA on the season with 48 strikeouts.

Chris Sale:

The Red Sox are the second biggest favorites on the board at -195 and they are playing against a team that hasn’t been able to score a lot of runs this year. Sale has been unbeatable this season and is currently leading the majors in strikeouts. I look for him to not only pick up the victory but also reach double-digit strikeouts. He might be the highest priced pitcher on the slate, but he is worth it. Sale is 4-2 on the season and has a 2.15 ERA with 85 strikeouts.

Jacob deGrom:

The Mets are a slight favorite tonight at -160 and are playing in a game with a 7.5 total that is trending towards the under. The Angels are a streaky team that has a ton of potential for strikeouts. The Mets haven’t been able to stay healthy this season so deGrom may lack the run support needed to pick up the win, but he still has a ton of strikeout potential. deGrom is 2-1 with a 4.07 ERA and 67 strikeouts.

The top 3 stacks for tonight’s slate in no particular order:

Blue Jays

After a slow start, the Blue Jays bats are starting to heat up. The Blue Jays are playing in a game with a 9 total that is trending towards the over. They are facing Tilman who is a right-handed pitcher, so the bats I like tonight are the left-handed and switch hitters. The players I like in this game are Ezequiel Carrera, Justin Smoak and Jose Bautista.

Tigers

The Tigers enter tonight as slight favorites and they are projected to score the most points of any team on the slate tonight. They are playing in a game with a 9 total that is trending towards the over and I believe it will close at 9.5 or higher by game time. They are facing Nick Martinez who has a 5.04 ERA and is a right-handed pitcher. I like the left-handed and switch hitters in this game. Particular players I like in this game are Alex Avila, Victor Martinez and Ian Kinsler.

Nationals:

The Nationals have been streaky all season, but they enter tonight as slight favorites in a game that is trending towards 9.5. They have batted well against R.A. Dickey and I don’t think that changes tonight. The Braves ballpark is set up nice for left-handed batters, so we will definitely target those players from the Nationals side. Players I like are Wilson Dilfo (if he plays), Bryce Harper (favorite player on the slate) and Daniel Murphy. Murphy and Harper have the potential to hit multiple homeruns on this slate and they are also my two favorite players on the slate.

Hopefully, this helps in your lineup builds for tonight’s slate. As always good luck and let’s build on our bankrolls!
