UFC on ESPN +16: Draftkings Daily Fantasy Sports Lineup Tips

by Earl Campbell | October 29, 2019 |

Draftkings has a ton of various GPP's and Cash Games this week for UFC on ESPN +16 for this coming Saturday evening but none bigger than the MMA $120K Throwdown Special on Draftkings.

The entry fee for this tournament is $15.00 and the top prize being $25,000.  There are 9411 entries for this GPP and there is a cap of 150-max multiple entries per player.  Jet's jump in and take a look at this week's BIG GPP for UFC on ESPN +15!

Spooky Express Top Tier Draftkings Play

Louis Smolko $9,200

Our top tier play this week on Draftkings will be Louis Smolko at $9,200.  Smolko will be facing Ryan MacDonald and is currently one of the biggest favorites on the card.

MacDonald made his UFC debut last time and simply wasn’t impressive.  He looked very green and without a doubt out of place.

Smolko will smother him with pressure and at some point, get the takedown, which will lead to a submission for Smolko.

Spooky Express Mid Tier Draftkings Play

Augusto Sakai $7,800

Our top mid tier play this week on Draftkings will be Augusto Sakai at $7,800.  Sakai has won both of his UFC fights, against former UFC veteran Chase Sherman and Andrei Arlovski.

He is 13-1-1 and has recorded 10 wins by KO or TKO. His opponent is Marcin Tybura, who simply has never lived up to his hype.

Tybura’s cardio is terrible and if Sakai can come out strong in the first round, he may be able to get that 1st round finish and upwards of 90+ points.

Spooky Express Low Tier Draftkings Play

Donald Cerrone $7,200

Our low tier option this week will be Donald Cerrone at $7,200.  This price is absolutely absurd for Cerrone. Cerrone always seems to step up his game in fight’s like this one with a top caliber competitor.

Gaethje will bring the fight to Cerrone but Cerrone has a very strong counter-striking game. If Gaethje tries to turn this into a striking war, Cerrone may take him down and try to submit him.

I really like Cerrone’s chances of landing some big significant strikes and eventually getting the finish.
