After a week off, we are back this week with the PGA Hero World Challenge from Albany, Bahamas.

This tournament is much much much smaller than a regular golf tournament, as only 18 golfers will tee it up this week.

There will not be a DFS article this week for golf, as we would be giving you 1/3 of the golfers if we did just 6 golfers and reality is, you need the perfect lineup to win so this week, we are bypassing DFS and only giving out a handicapping article.

Eighteen of the best golfers in the world will face off starting on Thursday, November 29, 2018, in the Hero World Challenge.  This tournament is an annual Golf Tournament that is hosted by Tiger Woods.  The tournament is made up of the 4 most recent winners of the PGA's four majors, the top 11 players available from a list of OWGR, the defending champion and two special exemption players, who are selected by the foundation.

The tournament is played at Albany, New Providence, which is where it has been played since 2015.  Prior to being played here at Albany, the tournament was played at Isleworth Golf & Country Club, Sherwood Country Club and Greyhawk Golf Club.

Albany is located in the Bahamas and is one of the nicer golf courses on the islands.  The course itself opened in October of 2010 and was created by Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, and the Tavistock Group. The course sits on a 600-acre Oceanfront property that is one of the more upscale courses.

Albany is a Par 72 course that plays at a distance of 7,302 yards.  With the course being located directly on the ocean, the wind is normally a factor but the course is one of the more easier courses to play in so it rarely becomes too much of an obstacle.

There are five Par 5's spaced throughout the course and those golfers that take advantage of these Par 5's is usually the one that scores the most and is there on Sunday competing for the win.

With their only being 18 golfers in this tournament, you really need to pick out a winner or maybe two golfers that you think can win this tournament and roll with them.  I don't think with the odds that you get on this tournament, you will benefit from playing more than 2 golfers.

Rickie Fowler +900 at BetMania

Fowler plays really well here at Albany.  Permitting Fowler, Spieth and DeChambeau don't go partying it up in the islands, I think he will have a very strong tournament.  Last year, he won the tournament, in 2016 he placed 3rd and in 2015 he finished 3rd.  Fowler is one of the best golfers in the tournament, ranked 9th in OWGR, and presents odds of 9/1.  I'm laying 3 units on Fowler as my golfer to win the Hero World Challenge.

Henrik Stenson +2850 at Bookmaker

Stenson is my second golfer who I will be playing for 2 units.  Stenson recently played in the DP World Tour Championship and finished 12th.  Prior to that, we had not seen Stenson since the FedEx Cup. One thing that I like about Stenson is the fact that he always plays well in the tournaments against top caliber competition. He finished in 17th place last year here at Albany, but last year is a bad judgement for Stenson.  The year prior, he finished 2nd to Hideki Matsuyama.  I think Stenson will have a much better year this year with his injury issues behind him.
