PGA Tour Pick: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am

On Thursday, January 30, the best golfers in the world will tee off at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in Pebble Beach, California that features a purse of $20,000,000. Current market odds have Scottie Scheffler as the favorite to win with a moneyline at +450 at MyBookie.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Betting Preview

Now that a few events have occurred in the golfing world, this will be the biggest event to kick off the new year. A lot more star power will definitely be at play, as some of the world’s best players will be teeing off.

Scheffler makes his debut on the season, Rory McIllroy will have his first appearance stateside this year, and all eyes will be on Wyndham Clark to see if he can repeat here after putting up a glorious 60 in the third round to steal this one.

Over the last decade, winning scores have been hovering around -17 or better. The course measures just under 7,000 yards and Spyglass Hill (the other course being used within the first two days) is slightly over 7,000 yards.

Golfers That Could Win

Tons of talented golfers will put their skills to the test at this iconic event. Wyndham Clark is appealing, but many argued he might not have won last year if they had the final day to play (cancelled due to weather). Below are a few that arguably have the best chances at winning this event or cracking the top 10.

Jason Day +3400

Day is the 33rd-best golfer in the world and has had his fingerprints all over this event in his career, but has yet to lift the trophy. Overall he has recorded nine finishes that have resulted in seventh or better, with his best being a runner-up in 2018.

Looking at his last 24 rounds here, he ranks second in strokes gained around the green, fourth in total strokes gained, and eighth for putting. Last year, he placed T6 with a score of -13.

Ludvig Aberg +1700

Aberg is coming off of a T42 finish at the Farmers Insurance Open, but prior to that he had a T5 at the Sony Open. He is currently ranked sixth in the world and has solid momentum coming into this event. Last year, he placed second with a -16.

MyBookie showcases the best AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am betting odds, favoring Scottie Scheffler to win. As for last season, it was easy to sit and pick Scheffler to win since he captured eight victories.

On top of that, he had performed well in just about every event he participated in. Last year at this event, he finished T6 with a final score of -13. Assuming he is in good shape returning from injury, he has a great opportunity to win this event.
