Horse Racing Picks for Gulfstream Park – Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018
Gulfstream Park – Sunday, Dec. 16, 2018
SPICED RUM PUNCH – the horse was second last out. Numbers are progressing in a nice way and should get a piece of the money.
SALSITA ROJA – Saez rides for De la Certa Armando. The good combination here. Second time out off the barn change is a good angle.
TRACY ANN’S LEGACY – second time out horse. Trying turf for the first time. Hard to get a read, but going with him.
IMMACULATE HEART- I am mentioning this horse, not for this race, but is a horse, you may want to write down. Career debut on grass, then two dirt races where the horse just could not keep it going. Looks to me like they are running this one in turf then will send it back out on dirt. Toning him up. Keep an eye on.
JUPITAR RISING – Saez/ Pletcher combo. A major drop in class gives this one major advantage. Win!
SOMETHING BIRD – Irad rides for Marcus Vitale. A slight drop in class. Numbers are better than most in here. Use in exotics.
NATIONAL HONOR – Nick Juarez rides on grass. A very good rider who is improving. First race off the barn change is key. New trainer hits at 26% w new horses. Exotics.
NAG – firster for Chad Brown. Paid $350,000 for this horse. I expect a good effort.
MYBIGITALIANFRIEND- third race of the from the cycle, but the trainer switch is the key. Jason Servis picks up the former Chad Brown trainee. Servis hits at almost 40% in this situation. Exotics.
KITTY FOYLE- second race of career. Got third in debut with a nice 53 Beyer. Also has a bullet work for return, 1 of 24. Pletcher has Saez in the saddle too. Must use.
Good luck and thanks for horseracing with Dietz!
