The Grade III, $125,000 Rood + Riddle Dowager Stakes will run as Race 8 on the Oct. 18 card at Keeneland.
The event for 3-year-old and up fillies and mares will cover 1 1/2 miles on turf and include names like Siberian Iris and Naomi Broadway among the field of six.

Siberian Iris, Naomi Broadway
One of the top names coming into the race is Calumet Farm’s Siberian Iris. The 6-year-old mare from Excelebration is trained by Richard Mandella.
She has a career record of 3-7-3 from 23 starts and earnings of $275,152. In 2020, she has one second and one third from five outings.
Last time out, she took fifth in the Sept. 15 TVG Stakes at Kentucky Downs. She also finished sixth in the Aug. 16 CTT and TOC Stakes (Black Type) at Del Mar and second in the June 21 San Juan Capistrano Stakes (G3) at Santa Anita.
Siberian Iris will break from post 5 under jockey Florent Geroux.
Another impressive runner among the field is Brownwood Farm’s Naomi Broadway. The Group 1 winner in Brazil made her U.S. debut Sept. 28, and she is trained by Paulo Lobo.
She has a career record of 2-3-5 from 16 starts and earnings of $52,130.
That U.S. debut was a third-place finish in a Sept. 28 allowance optional claiming race at Indiana Grand Race Course, which was her only 2020 start. To close out her 2019 season, the filly finished second in the Nov. 3 Marciano de Aguiar Moreira (G2) at Gavea in Brazil.
Naomi Boadway will break from the outside post 6 under Joseph Talamo.
Another entrant to look out for is Repole Stable’s Always Shopping. The 4-year-old Awesome Again filly is trained by Hall of Famer Todd Pletcher.
She has a career record of 3-2-1 from 11 starts and earnings of $318,510. In 2020, she has one win and one third from five outings.
Her most-recent run was a Sept. 7 victory in the Monroe Stakes (Black Type) at Gulfstream Park. She also took fourth in the Aug. 5 Summer Colony Stakes at Saratoga and third in an April 18 allowance optional claiming race at Gulfstream Park.
Always Shopping will break from post 4 under Tyler Gaffalione.
