Parx Race 6 Plum Pretty Stakes

7 Marion Francis- late pace numbers on this daughter of Constitution have been on the improve, ran huge at 12-1 in the G3 Indiana Oaks two back, followed that effort up with a third over this oval in a 150k Stakes, while running a Career top, Filly has been moving forward and I feel has the best chance of beating the prohibitive favorite Chub Wagon, Top Pick

6 Chub Wagon- Filly is a sprinting win machine, crossing the finishing line first in 9 of 10 Career starts, and 5of 6 here at Parx. I can’t see betting this one to win at such low odds especially since she routes for the first time, she’s a bit vulnerable in this spot, Win Contender

2 Promised Storm- ran second to Chub last out and does do her best running while routing, 9-11 in the money with 5 wins, could make some noise in here at a price, don’t ignore

Selections 7-6-2-1

Parx Race 7 Parx Dirt Mile Stakes

6 Silver State- 7-time winner in just 12 starts, had reeled off 6 consecutive wins till he ran into probably the best horse in training right now in Knicks Go, no such superstar signed up for this event, this Colt has great tactical speed will get an ideal spot just off the front runners and should be able to pounce at the wire, Colt gets back to his winning ways today, Top Pick

3 Mind Control – ran into some salty runners in the G1 Forego and finished a hard trying fourth losing by just a little over 2 lengths, 5 year old fits well here, Win Contender

7 Warriors Charge- laid an egg last out in the Charleston Classic, but I’ll forgive that effort, cause that configuration of that track is very difficult for a horse to run on , especially the first time, if this one can run back to that second-place finish to Maxfield two back, this one will be a player here, use underneath

Selections 6-3-7-8

Parx Race 8 Greenwood Cup Stakes Grade 3

5 Shooger Ray Too- has run two very races at Marathon distances such as today’s mile and a half, Gelding is 6-6 in the money over this oval with 2 wins, he gets the services of Kendrick Carmouche, who has a win on this animal in his lone start, Live Longshot

6 Looking at Roses-has the best late pace numbers of the bunch, if the pace is hot this Gelding will be rolling late, Win Contender

2 Moretti- appears to be the true speed in here but will likely have some company early, he be better if he can rate just off the lead today, Major Player

Selections 5-6-2-8

Parx Race 9 Turf Monster Stakes Grade 3

4 Carotari- loved this Geldings effort when finishing second at 24-1 in the G3 Troy at the Spa last out, ran a near triple digit turf speed figure that day, he’s been working extremely well since and appears to be sitting on a big run, Top Pick

8 Caravel- 5-5 at this distance and 7 wins in 10 Lifetime starts for this son of Mizzenmast Mast, looks very formidable in here and will be a deserving favorite, Win Contender

7 Belgrano- Monmouth shipper is in good form right now winning two straight, has a good chance in the deep exotics, use underneath

Selections 4-8-7-1

Parx Race 11 Cotillion Stakes Grade 1

5 Army Wife- I believe the combination of a premature move by the Jockey and the mile and a quarter distance contributed to this one’s third-place finish last out, this mile and a sixteenth distance today is ideal for this daughter of Declaration of War, she won the G3 Iowa Derby impressively at this distance, I’ve bet and won on this horse many times and I’m not getting off the train now, Top Pick

8 Always Carina- with the defection of the #7 Private Mission out of this race, Always Carina becomes a very viable option, she’ll be the lone speed in her two-turn debut which ups this gal’s chances big time, I wouldn’t be surprised if this 6-1 morning line shot goes gate to wire, Win Contender

6 Clairiere- Ultra Consistent and G1 placed Filly never runs a bad one, Major Threat

Selections 5-8-6-9

Parx Race 12 Pennsylvania Derby Grade 1

7 Hot Rod Charlie- crossed the finishing line first in the G1 Haskell last out at Monmouth, but was taking down after drifting just a bit but causing Midnight Bourbon to lose the Jockey, very unfortunate event.I believe this Colt is one of the top three horses in training right now his race in the Belmont was outstanding, pressing a suicidal pace and fighting tooth and nail with Essential Quality to wire was incredible, most horses wouldn’t have even finished the race after those early fractions, I love Hot Rod Charlie, Top Pick

10 American Revolution-lightly raced Todd Pletcher trained Colt by super sire Constitution ran a Career top when winning a State Bred Stakes by 5 with little effort, the waters get awfully deep here with the step up in class, but who knows what guys ceiling is , these lightly raced runners move forward rather quickly and Pletcher has confidence in this one and so do I, Win Contender

8 Midnight Bourbon- hard trying Colt has been facing the best and has run well, giving Essential Quality all he could handle in the Travers, losing by just a neck, Major Player

Selections 7-10-8-2
