The $400,000 Music City Stakes will run as Race 11 on the Sept. 13 card at Kentucky Downs.
The event for 3-year-old fillies will cover 6 1/2 furlongs on turf and include names like Kimari and Enola Gay leading the field of 16.

Kimari, Enola Gay
The morning-line favorite coming in at 3/1 is Ten Broeck Farm’s Kimari. The daughter of Munnings is trained by Wesley A. Ward.
She has a career record of 4-2-0 from seven starts with earnings of $421,177. In 2020, she has one win and one second from two outings.
The filly’s most recent performance was a runner-up effort in the June 19 Commonwealth Cup (G1) at Ascot, and her victory came in the April 4 Purple Martin Stakes at Oaklawn Park. The latter resulted in a 104 Speed Figure.
Kimari will break from post 10 under jockey Julio A. Garcia.
One of her biggest rivals coming into the race is Allen Stable’s Enola Gay. The daughter of Uncle Mo is trained by Claude R. McGaughey III.
She is 2-0-0 from four career starts and has earnings of $189,000. In 2020, she has one win from two outings.
Enola Gay’s last run was a fifth-place finish in the Aug. 16 Saratoga Oaks Invitational Stakes (Black Type) at Saratoga. The fllly’s lone victory this year came in the July 11 Appalachian S. Presented by Japan Racing Association (G2) at Keeneland, where she registered a 108 Speed Figure.
Enola Gay will break from post 5 under Julien R. Leparoux.
She’s My Type
Another runner to keep an eye on is the 5/1 She’s My Type. The daughter of Dunkerque is trained by Christophe Clement.
Her career record is 3-1-1 from six starts with earnings of $167,580. This year, the filly has two wins, one second and one third from five outings.
The two victories came in the July 31 Coronation Cup Stakes at Saratoga, where she registered a 94 Speed Figure, and the Jan. 4 Ginger Brew Stakes at Gulfstream Park. Her other performances include a second-place run in the June 21 Lady Shipman Stakes (Black Type) at Belmont Park.
She’s My Type will break from post 6 under Joel Rosario.
