The $80,000 River Memories Stakes will run as Race 8 on the July 12 card at Belmont Park.

The event for fillies and mares 4-years-old and up will cover 1 1/2 miles on the turf and include names like Wegetsdamunnys and Olympic Games leading the field of 11.

Here is a look at the top contenders set for the River Memories Stakes.

Wegetsdamunnys, Olympic Games

The favorite coming in with a morning-line at 7/2 is Scott Krase and Peter Stokes’ Wegetsdamunnys.

The 5-year-old daughter of D’Funnybone is trained by Christophe Clement and has a career record of 5-3-2 from 19 starts with earnings of $255,511.

She won last time out in a June 12 allowance optional claiming race at Belmont Park, in what was her only 2020 start. At the end of 2019, the mare finished eighth in both the Nov. 30 Long Island Stakes (G3) and the Nov. 3 Zagora Stakes (Black Type) at Aqueduct.

She will break from post 9 under jockey Junior Alvarado.

Her biggest competition could come from Martin Schwartz’s Olympic Games, coming in as the second-choice with a morning-line at 3/1.

Trained by Christophe Clement as well, the 4-year-old daughter of Olympic Glory is 3-1-1 from seven career starts with earnings of $52,237.

The filly’s only 2020 race was a second-place finish in the June 7 Treasure Coast Stakes (Black Type) at Gulfstream Park. That was the French-bred horse’s only performance in the U.S.

She will break from post 6 under Irad Ortiz, Jr.

Dyna Passer

The third-choice coming in with a morning-line at 5/1 is Woodslane Farm’s Dyna Passer.

Trained by Thomas Albertrani, the 4-year-old daughter of Lemon Drop Kid has a career record of 2-1-4 from 11 starts and earnings of $218,410.

The filly scored a March 22 allowance optional claiming race last time out at Gulfstream Park, which followed a fourth-place finish in an allowance race there on Feb. 23.

Dyna Passer will break from post 1 under Javier Castellano.

The rest of the field (post, morning-line) includes: Beale Street (post 2, 10/1); Beau Belle (post 3, 6/1); Lemon Zip (post 4, 6/1); Pallas Athene (post 5, 20/1); Civil Union (post 7, 8/1); Red Curls (post 8, 50/1); Seeking Revenge (post 10, 30/1); and Tass (post 11, 15/1).
