8 Braverthanubelieve was a winner on debut in sloppy conditions over this main track here at the Big A. Filly looked mighty professional making a 3 wide move and fighting on gamely at the wire to score the victory by one length. This ones trainer has won 50% of his starts here at the meet and Joel Rosario gets the mount today. Win Contender
10 Hot Currency turned some heads when breaking Maiden in just just her third start, winning by over 6-lengths while running a career top. A repeat or any move forward off that effort likely will get this Linda Rice trainee the victory today. Win Contender
11 She’s Country goes turf to dirt after winning 2 of 3 career starts on the blades. If she takes to the surface switch she’ll have something to say in here at the wire. Don’t Ignore

Aqueduct Race 9 Remsen Stakes Grade 2
10 Balboa got a much needed confidence building win when defeating a large field of 10 in the slop at Laurel in a local Stakes. Colt had been facing some salty competition on the West Coast at the Grade 1 level. I’m not sure we get the juicy 12-1 morning line come post time, but if this one is anywhere near that, I’ll be all smiles. Live Longshot
7 Igniter showed nice progression when stretched out to this one turn mile distance, breaking his maiden by a length. Colt’s work tab has been solid since. Win Contender
9 Renegade is another in here who displayed great improvement when stretching out to a route distance, winning by a head but placed second via DQ. Major Threat

4 Crazy Mason’s a stone cold closer who is pace dependent. He just might get the ideal pace set up today as long as the #2 Mika makes it to the starting gate. He’s a Grade 2 winner with a tremendous late turn of foot, he’ll be motoring late. Win Contender
6 Phileas Fogg is a classy front runner who has finish no worse than second 14 times in 20 lifetime starts while sporting 9 trips to the winners circle. Gelding needs to be careful not tget in a speed duel with the cheaper inside speed. Win Contender
7 Bishops Bay must be considered after winning 4 of his last 5 races with only loss coming versus superstar Book em Dano in the G1 Forego. Major Threat

9 Sunday Boy has yet to have a clean trip in 5 career starts but has still shown the willingness to make up ground in the stretch. Maiden is still looking for his first victory but can pull the upset here with a trouble free trip. Live Longshot
7 Spirit of New York is the most accomplished of all the participants in this Stakes for NY Breds. Gelding won a State Bred Stakes two back and ran a good 4th on the Turf last out in the Notebook Stakes. Win Contender
