4 Betty’s Pearl has raised her dirt speed figures consistently in her last 4 starts, hilighted by a 98 Bris number when defeating lesser foes. Filly has finished behind a few horses she faces today but she seems to be in best shape of her career and I believe will get a top effort from this Brian Lynch trainee. She offers a good value at the 9-2 morning line. Win Contender 

5 Prom Queen has been facing much tougher in Grade 1 competition. Filly should relish the drop in class today. Win Contender 

2 Nahla broke her maiden here back on May 25th and steps up in class. She has been no worse than 3rd in 3 lifetime starts and has showed a good late turn of foot in all those races. Don’t Ignore

Indianapolis Horseshoe Race 12 Indiana Derby Grade 3

4 Our Moneyman has been a model of consistency in 8 career starts. Colt has never finished off the board while sporting 3 trips to the winners circle. She had primarily been facing State Breds but her recent second place finish in the G3 Matt Winn Stakes, proved she can compete with open company. Win Contender 

8 Leading Charged turned some heads on debut when crossing the finishing line first by over 6-lengths. Colt was quick early and even quicker late. I usually do not like taking a Maiden victor stepping up into a Grade 3 but I believe this could be a talented

6 Creole Chrome hasn’t been able to compete in Graded open company but this Joe Sharp Trainee has quick early speed. If this gal is left alone on the front end, she could take this group gate-to-wire. Major Threat

Praire Meadows Race 7 Iowa Derby 

5 Desert Gate pressed a reasonably fast pace last out in the Ohio Derby and had nothing left for the stretch drive, finishing a fading 4th. This Bob Baffert trainee now cuts back to a mile and sixteenth which she should appreciate. Look for Jockey Florent Geroux to sit just off the lead today and mow them down in the stretch run. Top Pick

4 JJ Grey has loojed like a different horse in his last 2 starts. Colt won by 5-lengths 2 races back and followed that effort up with a career top 98 Bris speed fig taking a local Stakes here. Not sure what Kenny McPeek is putting in this ones vittles but it seems to be working. Win Contender 

1 The Hell We Did was overmatched last out in the Grade 1 Preakness. Colt fits well here with the drop in class and cut back in distance. Don’t Ignore

Prairie Meadows Race 8 Cornhusker Handicap Grade 3

 8 Navajo Warrior has won back-to-back races with a triple digit speed figures. Gelding was last seen going gate-to-wire in the Pimlico Special. Gelding doesn’t necessarily need to be on the lead. He has tactical speed to good position early. This son Candy Ride seems to be a cut above his rivals in here today. Win Contender 

5 San Siro has been facing some salty runners in his last 3 starts. Gelding recently ran a good third versus the aforementioned in the Pimlico Special. I doubt he can turn the tables on Navajo Warrior but like him to finish just underneath the 8. Major Player

6 Gigante must be considered. He has won over 1.4k is a 12-time winner and has nice late turn of foot. Don’t Ignore
