6 Book’em Danno is a Saratoga win machine. This overachieving Jersey Bred has won 4 of 5 races at the Spa which includes the Grade 1 Forego Stakes. He’s training well and will need to be at his best to defeat this competitive field. I believe he’ll be up to the task. Win Contender 

3 Bentornato is the Breeders Cup Sprint Turf Champion who was last seen finishing second in a Group 1 in Dubai. Roan is the controlling speed in here and will play catch me if you can. If this race was at 6-furlongs, I’d put him on top. However, with the added half furlong and him making his first start back from Dubai, he could vulnerable. Win Contender 

2 Imagination makes his second start off the layoff forvtrainer Bob Baffert. 5 year old returned from Dubai and finished a tiring 4th in the G1 Churchill Downs Stakes. I like that he cuts back a half furlong and has a race under his belt since running overseas. Major Player

9 Twenty Six Black has the most consistent late pace figures of this group and if the early pace hot, I expect this Gelding to be motoring down the lane. I love the Jockey change to the aggressive Manny Franco. Live Longshot

6 Ag Bullet ran an even 4th at a mile in the G1 Matriarc last out which was a good work out. Mare is a top ranked sprinter and defending Champ of this race. Her work tab looks sharp as tries to beat the boys once again. I like her chances. Win Contender 

10 My Boy Prince is a 9-time winner who has won at multiple venues. Gelding always gives 100% a rarely runs a bad race. Major Player

Saratoga Race 10 Woody Stephens Stakes Grade 1

1 Gilded Bandit is a lightly raced son of Charlaton who has won 2 of his first 3 races to start off his career. Charlaton’s runners tend to move forward at quick pace with many of them getting thier fist Stakes victory in thier 4th start. I have a feeling the early pace in here is going to be on fire and this race could fall apart, setting up this Billy Mott trainees late kick. Live Longshot 

2 Obliteration exits from a sharp victory in the Chick Lang Stakes at Laurel while running a career top. Colt won last year’s G3 Sanford Stakes by 10 lengths over this main track here at the Spa. He offers a sweet value with the 8-1 morning line. Win Contender 

6 Crude Velocity is going to take most of the money here after that stellar performance in the Pat Day Mile but I feel he’s beatable today. This is tougher field than the Peter Pan and he carries 6 more lbs today. Use Underneath

7 Journalism has been facing tougher than these and should relish not seeing the the likes of Sovereignty, Fierceness, Forever Young and White Abbarrio. Top Pick

1 Nysos returns from Dubai after finishing a good second to the mighty Forever Young. This Baffert trainee has had plenty of time to recover from the long overseas flight and has been working exceptionally for his return. Win Contender

Saratoga Race 13 Belmont Stakes Grade 1

7 Commandment broke terrible in the Derby, was rushed up prematurely during the beginning of that race, and was knocked off strides in the stretch run. I’m digging the Jockey switch to Johnny V today. I expect Johnny V to have this Colt in good position in the second flight , make his move at the top of the stretch and hold off some very good closers. Top Pick

4 Renegade ran too good to lose in the Derby despite drawing the 1 hole. He’s probably the most talented horse in here but is a bit pace dependent which is concerning. He’ll cone flying late but will he get there in time, maybe. Win Contender 

3 Chief Wallabee always runs a good race but only still has maiden win on his resume. Use Underneath
