Stogie Saratoga Picks & Best Bets – 7/11/25
Saratoga Race 4
6 Brocknardini was last seen finishing a disappointing 7th in the Mount Vernon Stakes for NY Breds. I’ll forgive that effort as this Filly had absolutely no pace in front which compromised her late kick. She now drops in class, gets first time juice and should get a better pace scenario upfront. Gal is the only runner in here who has a win on the Saratoga blades. Top Pick
4 Bobby’s My Girl exits from the same race as the aforementioned. This Filly finished 8th but did have a troubled trip. She makes her third start of the form cycle and enters here off a bullet work. She could make some noise in here at a price. Live Longshot
1 Collaboration pressed the pace last out and had nothing left for the stretch drive, finishing 6th. Mare was making her first start in over 6 months and should be much more fit in her second start off the bench. She’s a multiple winner at this level and the work tab looks tight. Win Contender

Saratoga Race 7 Coronation Cup Stakes Grade 3
6 Abienot is a Grade 3 winner while sprinting on the turf. She finished a disappointing 9th last out in a Grade 3 at Churchill. I didn’t care for the ride that day which compromised this Filly’s chance for the W. This Gal is training exceptionally and gets regular pilot Dylan Davis back in the irons. The pace in here will likely be hot early, setting the table for this Mark Casse trainee’s late run. Win Contender
5 Spirited Boss is a Stakes winner while sprinting on the turf down in South Florida. Filly has good tactical speed and should be sitting just off the front-runners today. She fits well here. Win Contender
3 Cloe has sharp early speed but will have to contend with a few want-the-lead-types in here. She’ lightly raced with plenty of upside. A move forward today could get the job down for this daughter of Tiz the Law. Major Threat

Saratoga Race 10
7 Fond Farewell was a debut winner on the green at Churchill Downs for trainer William Warden. Gelding looked very professional in debut as he rallied from a slow start to win his Maiden. He now faces winners for the first time and stretches out to a route. He’s Bred to go this long and his trainer hits at 50% winners in second grass start. Win Contender
2 Asbury Park raised his turf speed figure by 8 points when breaking his Maiden in just his second start. This Chad Brown trained son of Frankel was purchased for 318k and looks like a runner we should keep an eye on. Colt will be super fit in this, his second start off the layoff. Win Contender
12 King of Ashes has looked like a different horse since switching to the turf. He was a neck away from being a Stakes winner when finishing second in the Audubon Stakes at Churchill. Major Threat
5 Assertiveness drops in class after finishing an even 5th in the Paradise Creek Stakes at the Big A while sprinting on the turf. Colt should relish the added ground today. Live Longshot
