Stogies Horse Racing

KAqueduct Race 3

  • 6 Scheduling Dude could make some noise in here at a price. This front runner couldn’t get the job done at 6 and a half furlongs at this level last out, but three races back this Colt was an impressive 4-length winner when traveling at 6 furlongs. He cuts back in distance, gets first-time juice and Dutrow adds the blinkers. Win Contender
  • 1 Vekinda wasn’t able to get the job done when stepping up in class to this level last out, but this Gelding showed some promise in all of his six MSW races versus some salty runners. There’s plenty of speed signed on in here today which should benefit this one’s closing kick. Win Contender
  • 7 Three B’s must be considered after dominating weaker versus claiming 32k types. Major Player

Selections 6-1-7-5

Aqueduct Race 8

  • 5 Coach Case is a first time starter for trainer Christophe Clement who does extremely well with firsters trying the blades. This son of Slumber is Bred up and down to dig the green. Colt has been training well over the turf at Payson Park and Jockey Dylan Davis who is on fire of late, gets the mount. Top Pick
  • 7 Sir Oscar showed improvement in second career start while taking on open company at Tampa. Gelding was able to make up ground in the stretch despite pedestrian fractions being set upfront. A quicker pace today and this Graham Motion trainee just might mow them down late. Win Contender
  • 2 Home Invasion didn’t show much in debut on the dirt finishing a disappointing sixth. The change in surface might be to this Colt’s liking. He has some turf pedigree especially on the Dam side, so I’m going to throw this bomber into the mix. Live Longshot

Selections 5-7-2-10

    Keeneland Race 6

    • 2 Tiz Silver was visually impressive when breaking maiden on the All Weather surface at Turfway Park. Filly came from dead last under the guidance of Jockey Flavien Prat, to win by 2 lengths. Gal has put in some very sharp works since and could be a player here as she faces winners for the first time. Win Contender
    • 8 Come as You Are has outrun her odds in her last 2 starts. Filly recently finished third down in South Florida versus a tough field of 8 while running a Career top. Win Contender
    • 5 Sam’s Treasure goes turf to dirt for a trainer who hits at an incredible 44% winners off that angle. Major Threat

    Selections 2-8-5-3

    Keeneland Race 8 Bewitch Stakes

    • 2 Immenstitude hasn’t seen the winners circle in over 2 years but this Mare came back strong off a 4-month layoff when he finished second by 1 length in the Grade 3 Very One Stakes down in South Florida. Turf Superstar Jockey Flavien Prat rides today. Top Pick
    • 3 Forever After All is a closer who was compromised by the slow pace in the Very One. If this daughter of Connect gets a favorable pace upfront, she’ll be a player at the wire. Win Contender
    • 7 Eternal Silence looked like a winner turning for home in the G2 Hillsboro but tired late in the stretch. Mare should have something to say as she drops in class here. Major Threat

    Selections 2-3-7-4
