8 Secret Rules was claimed last out after finishing second by a little over two lengths. This Gelding didn’t get the best of trips that day, he stumbled out of the gate and ran wide throughout the 6-furlong race. Prior to that race, he reeled off back-to-back victories. He now runs for the Rudy Rodriguez barn, who do extremely well with newbies to his stable. Win Contender
1 Chief Ron is a Delaware shipper who has been facing better. He enters here off two very strong works. Win Contender
6 Squire Creek is a front running Gelding who tried to wire a field of Claiming 40k types, but tired late in stretch. He faces a bit weaker today and cuts back to 6 furlongs. He could take them a long way today and if he’s not pressured early, he could take them gate to wire. Major Player

10 Gaslight Dancer was an impressive winner two races back versus weaker. Colt stepper up in class last out but unfortunately lost the rider. Colt is a closer who will benefit from a likely hot pace. The red hot Joel Rosario is in the irons today. Win Contender
6 Live High Live Low gets significant class relief after finishing a solid second in local Stakes here at the Big A. Win Contender
5 Biz Biz Buzz changed running tactics last out when he pressed the pace on the front-end, finishing second by just a length. This Gelding likely will go back to his closing style as this race is loaded with want the lead types. He runs second off the claim for trainer Mike Maker who hits at over 20% with that angle. Major Player

6 Big Hat Willie is an intriguing Longshot who I believe has shot to light up the tote board today. He exits from a commanding victory on the dirt at Horseshoe Indianapolis and runs for the red hot Jockey/Trainer combo of Sammy Camacho Jr and Trainer David Jacobson. This Geldings turf form has been solid on the West Coast. He has never raced this short but a 15-1 I’ll take a shot. Live Longshot
2 Mischievous Rogue has been facing tougher and rarely runs a bad race. He fits well here. Win Contender
10 Bad Beat Brian has back class and makes his second start off the layoff, Don’t Ignore

1 Royal Charter has not had an ideal trip or ride in her last two starts. I love the Jockey switch to Kimura today. Kimura has been stellar the past two weeks. H should sit mid pack and get first run at the pace setters. Win Contender
5 Yerwanthere is another in here who will benefit from the likely hot early pace. This gal has been coming up short at the wire, finishing second by less than a length in 3 of her last 4 races. Maybe today she gets back to her winning ways. Win Contender
7 Paris Secret is in bad current form but does have back class. This is the kind of race trainer Phil D’Amato brings home a bomber, Live Longshot
