The Washington Wizards find themselves facing one of the best teams in the NBA. Currently, No.11 in the Eastern Conference, the Wizards have a record of 27-32.

Today, they'll face off against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are 35-24. This isn't going to be an easy game for the Wizards to endure. However, the Cavaliers are on a three-game losing streak which could help.

After losing three games in a row, the Cleveland Cavaliers hope to get their season back on track. Two out of the three teams they lost to were quite underwhelming teams, the Hawks and the Pistons.

The Cavaliers aren't unbeatable, but they're definitely the better team in this game. The question is, will they get a few players back in time for this game against the Wizards?

Washington Wizards: Taking advantage of injuries is key

If the Wizards want to win this game, they'll need to take advantage of the injuries to Cleveland. Overall, the Wizards are underwhelming on both offense and defense.

Offensively, they average 107.83 points per game, ranking 22nd in the NBA. On the defensive side of the ball, the Wizards are giving up 110.64 points per game. These statistics put the Wizards in an unfortunate spot.

The good news for them is that Darius Garland has been ruled “out” for today's game. This places him with Collin Sexton and Caris Lavert. With so many key injuries to Cleveland, the Wizards could come away with a win here.

Unfortunately, they'll be without Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal. These injuries essentially offset each other, but Washington can still win.

Cleveland Cavaliers: How can they overcome these injuries?

The Cavaliers have lost their best players over the course of the season. The most recent is Darius Garland, who leads the team in scoring and assists per game.

Garland was averaging 20.3 points per game along with eight assists. Losing him means losing a vital part of the game, distribution. It'll take the rest of the players on offense to make up for his absence today.

This means players such as Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen will have to step up and lead the team. Allen is the Cavaliers' biggest defensive threat, and he can stop anyone thinking of coming inside the paint.

Mobley can stretch the floor with his perimeter shooting, but they'll have to work together. The Cavaliers can't continue this losing streak, or they could fall down in the rankings.

Wizards vs. Cavaliers Betting Odds & Lines

The Washington Wizards come into this game as 7.5-point underdogs per BetOnline. BetOnline opened the line at +6 originally and was likely increased with the Porzingis news.

Over the course of their last ten games, the Wizards are 7-3 against the Cavaliers. However, in a smaller sample, the Cavaliers have gone 2-1 against the spread in their last three against Washington.

That being said, we think you should bet this game at BetOnline, where you can find the Cavaliers -7.5. This season, the Cavaliers are 35-22-2 against the spread.

BetOnline has the over/under at 207.5. We'll go over which one to choose there in a moment.

As we mentioned above, the Cavaliers are 35-22-2 against the spread, an incredible record. They've run into a rough patch, but today is the perfect day for them to work out of it.

They're facing a team that has gone 4-15-1 ATS in their last 20 games. Considering the Wizards are without Porzingis and Beal, the offense is going to suffer.

Because of this, not only do we think Cleveland will win and cover the spread, we'll take the under too. The game is set at 207.5, but with all the injuries, we'd be surprised if any team scored 100 points. Take the Cleveland Cavaliers -7.5!
