The Clippers are definitely a nice surprise this season. They are right in the thick of things in the first half of the season. They have a well-balanced team with a strong bench. The LA Clippers are scoring 116 ppg which ranks them 4th in the league.
They are giving up 114 ppg which ranks them 24th in the league. They trail Golden St by 2½ games in the Pacific Division. They are also a very respectable 10-10 on the road. Clippers have also been a moneymaker with an ATS record of 24-16. As far as totals, OVER has been money going 24-15-1.
Tobias Harris leads the team in scoring at 21.1 ppg, but Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams are only trailing him by a couple of points. Harris is the main man for the Clips as he also is the team’s leading rebounder with 8 boards a game. Lou Williams in addition to being the teams 3rd leading scoring tops the team in assists dishing out 4.9 a game. LA is in the top 10 in many offensive rankings.

The Nuggets lead the Northwest Division by 2½ games over Oklahoma City. They are an impressive 16-3 at home. Like the Clippers, they are making some money for gamblers out there going 22-17 ATS. Nikola Jokic leads the team in scoring with 19 ppg.

Home court the difference in this matchup
We have two teams who are very pleased with where they are at so far this season. Clippers have played well on the road and are having very little problems scoring points this season. As strong as they are on offense, the defense is probably their liability.
You cannot overlook Denver’s tremendous home court advantage this season. I think they key for them is they are allowing 9 fewer points at home vs the road. We also have a little revenge factor. Clips blew out the Nuggets in December 132-111. Clippers recent play is why this line is low as it is.
I personally think this line should be closer to 10. I see Denver clamping down on defense and a minor slip up in LA’s offense. Denver’s offense is not rated as high as LA’s, but it should do enough damage vs the Clippers defense. I say Denver by double digits.
