The Porsche Nord Course at the Green Eagle Golf Resort in Hamburg, Germany, will host the 2024 European Open. This is a Par 72 that spans 7,455 total yards.
Nicknamed the "North Course" for short, this event could have golfers battling all the way to 7,800 total yards. The beauty is that this course is quite flexible in terms of yardage and what they can offer golfers each year for any event.
This course ranks as the toughest to play in all of Germany, according to golfers around the world. It is also one of the world's longest courses, ranking in the top 10.

Rasmus Hojgaard +1975: Hojgaard leads the field as the slight favorite, assuming he can capitalize on many tough aspects of this course. He is coming off a T68 performance at the PGA Championship, so there is some improvement he could make here. He has not shined as well lately in comparison to the start of the year, when he was within the top 10 several times and showed promise to dominate. He has a great shot, but when it comes to his iron play, he must take care of himself.
Jordan Smith +2100: Smith won this event back in 2017 and had the second-best driving distance. However, being on top of your driver has only proved to be effective for that particular year, as other winners since have not been as great in that regard. Smith will likely use that to his advantage, especially since he can bomb off the tee. He does not have great momentum with a 69 placing at the Soudal Open, so he will need to impress early.
