by Tyler Vaysman | November 29, 2020 |

The New Orleans Saints will be looking for their eighth straight win when they visit Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday and take on the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos are looking to inch a game closer to the .500 mark, a standard that did not seem possible a month ago. The Saints are favored by 6.5 points on Mybookie.

New Orleans Saints Betting Preview: Keep Setting the Pace

The New Orleans Saints come into play with a record of 8-2, a game and a half in front of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC South. The Saints are coming off a win over the Atlanta Falcons 24-9 last Sunday without their starting quarterback, Drew Brees.

Brees suffered a cracked rib and punctured lung the week prior against the San Francisco 49ers. Brees is expected to miss at least three games with the injury, and Taysom Hill stepped in and played well against Atlanta. Hill completed 18 of 23 passes for 233 yards.

He also carried the ball ten times for 51 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Michael Thomas was the main beneficiary of Hill’s passing game, catching nine passes for 104 yards.

On the season in limited quarterback action, Hill has completed 78% of his passes for 319 yards. He has rushed for 235 yards.

Running backs Alvin Kamara and Latavius Murray have combined for almost 1,000 yards and ten touchdowns on the ground this season. Kamara has added 67 receptions for 648 yards and four more touchdowns.

Denver Broncos Betting Preview: Play the Spoiler

The Denver Broncos come into play with a record of 4-6, five games behind the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West. The Broncos are coming off an upset victory over the Miami Dolphins last Sunday.

The Broncos’ defense stymied the Miami offense all day long, and the offense moved the ball with relative ease. Quarterback Drew Lock completed 18 of 30 passes for 270 yards and one interception.

Running back Melvin Gordon III carried the ball 15 times for 84 yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Tim Patrick had a solid game, catching five passes for 119 yards.

On the season, Lock has completed 56% of his passes for 1,767 yards and seven touchdowns. He has thrown 11 interceptions this year.

Gordon III leads the team with 523 yards rushing on 122 carries. He has scored six touchdowns. Rookie wideout Jerry Jeudy has had a solid rookie campaign, catching 37 passes for 589 yards and two scores.

This game is intriguing simply for the fact that Brees is not playing in it. However, the Saints just simply have too many weapons for the Broncos to be able to keep up. Take the Saints and the points in this one.
