The Los Angeles Rams will travel to MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon to take on the New York Giants. The Rams are currently 4-1 and are coming off a 26-17 road win on Thursday night over here, the Seattle Seahawks.
Matt Stanford had a good game as he finished going 25-of-37 for 365 yards with a touchdown and an interception. The Giants are 1-4 and are coming off a 44-20 road loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Daniel Jones exited the game early with a concussion as he went 5-of-13 for 95 yards.
New York Giants Betting Preview: Golladay Break?
The New York Giants are heading into this with many injury designations like wide receiver Kenny Golladay. He is questionable with a hyperextended knee but has 17 catches for 282 yards (16.6 yards per reception) this season. He did not factor into the game last week against the Cowboys as he did not register a catch on three targets. If he can play in this upcoming game, he will have a chance to have a big game here.
The New York Giants defensively have been subpar as they are allowing 27.8 points per game this season. Their previous game against the Dallas Cowboys gave up 44 points on 515 total yards of offense (314 passing, 201 rushings) and sustained drives as Dallas was 8-of-14 on third 1-of-2 on fourth down.
They also were not being forced to make plays as their offense averaged seven yards per play. If the New York Giants defense can sure up as they take on another talented offense, it will help out the franchise.
Los Angeles Rams Betting Preview: Kupp and Away
The Los Angeles Rams love to throw the football, and it helps when you have one of the best receivers in the game in Cooper Kupp. He is in the top-three in receptions (37), receiving yards (523), and receiving touchdowns (5). In his previous game against the Seattle Seahawks, Kupp finished with seven catches on ten targets for 92 yards (13.1 yards per reception). If he can continue to find ways to be open, it will make Stafford’s life a whole lot easier.
This season, the Los Angeles Rams have been a good defensive team as they are giving up 23.2 points per game this year. Their last game against the Seattle Seahawks allowed 17 points on 354 total yards of offense (262 passing, 92 rushings).
The Rams secondary was able to keep the quarterbacks on their toes as they forced a pair of interceptions. Seattle ran the ball relatively well without Chris Carson active as they averaged 3.7 yards per rushing attempt. If Los Angeles can figure out how to be a better defensive team against the run, they will continue on their quest to the Super Bowl.

The New York Giants have been miserable this season and their top quarterback, running back. Wide receiver all could potentially miss this game while the Los Angeles Rams have been rolling throughout the beginning stages of the year. Matt Stafford is beginning to figure out the offense and having his best wide receiver since Calvin Johnson doesn’t hurt. The road game has been covered in each of the last four meetings between these teams.
