AFC Conference Championship: Buffalo Bills vs. Kansas City Chiefs Pick - Jan 26, 2025

The Buffalo Bills will take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night in the AFC Conference Championship game.  This game will take place from the GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri at 6:30 PM on CBS.

Our friends over at BetOnline have made the Chiefs a 1.5 point favorite with the total on the over/under line being 48.5 points.

Buffalo Bills Preview

The Buffalo Bills beat the Baltimore Ravens, barely and by the skin of their teeth, 27-25. The Ravens had a chance to tie it and send the game to OT when QB Lamar Jackson slipped out of the pocket to throw to TE Mark Andrews, it appeared that would happen but in a unlikely event, Andrews dropped the ball.

That sent the Bills to the AFC Conference Championship. The Bills are a dangerous team. They are talented at various levels but led by none other than MVP Candidate, Josh Allen.

Allen didn’t have a great game last week. He only threw for 127 yards total but weather was not his friend. It was cold, it was snowy and was just nasty for any passing game.

Kansas City Chiefs Preview

It wasn’t easy, but the Kansas City Chiefs are back in the AFC Conference Championship and hoping to play in their third straight Super Bowl!

Last week, the Chiefs beat the Houston Texans 23-14 in a closer then they would have liked game. At halftime, the score was just 13-6 and at the start of the 4th quarter, the score was 13-12.

But in the end, the Chiefs got the win and advanced! Now, they have to get past the Bills to try for the 3-peat!

Season Matchup Recap

The Chiefs and Bills met each other on November 17, 2024, with the final score coming out with the Bills on top 30-21. The Bills were at home in that game, and were 2.5 point favorites. They got the win and the cover in that game, with the total going OVER the posted number by 4.5 points.

Handicapping Pick and Preview

Say what you want about the Chiefs this year but they just find ways to win ballgames. They are 9-0 at home this season compared to the Bills only being 5-4 on the road.

Let’s face it, the Bills got very lucky last week, with Andrews dropping a pass in the endzone that sent the Bills here to the AFC Conference Championship. Do they belong here, maybe, but when the luck runs out, you have to beat a very talented team in the Chiefs, and we just don’t think that happens. Take the Chiefs at BetOnline on the Moneyline at -134.
