Monday Night Football Preview: Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers will travel to Glendale, Arizona, for a Monday Night Football matchup with the Arizona Cardinals this week. This is the second game of the night and will take place at State Farm Stadium in front of the Arizona home crowd.
Gametime for this matchup is set for 9:00 PM on ESPN+. Currently, oddsmakers at Bookmaker list the Chargers as slight 1.5-point favorites.
Los Angeles Chargers Preview
The Chargers enter this Monday Night Football game off a win against the Denver Broncos. In that game, Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh left the sidelines during the game due to chest pains. Harbaugh is said to have had a stress test, which he checked out OK for, and it is said that his heart rhythm is back to normal.
The Chargers will want him on the sidelines, as he is 6-0 from his time with the San Francisco 49ers on Monday nights.
The Chargers’ offense is really clicking, and they are getting healthy. After dealing with a high-ankle injury, quarterback Justin Herbert is finally mobile and picking on opposing defenses, as he did with Denver last week.
In that game, Herbert threw for 237 yards and targeted 9 different players in the game.
Arizona Cardinals Preview
The Arizona Cardinals have lost three of their last four games and are looking for momentum on Monday Night in front of their home crowd. In their three home games this year, they’ve gone 1-2, beating the LA Rams 41-10 but losing to the Washington Commanders and Detroit Lions by a combined 27-62!
They have struggled on defense and must now deal with Justin Herbert and the Chargers, a recipe for disaster. Two starters, Justin Jones and Bilal Nichols, are out for the season, contributing to that issue.
If they can’t stop offenses, they better be able to score to keep up with them, and that is exactly what QB Kyler Murray will try. He will lead the way on Monday Night and hopefully find a way to keep up with the Chargers.

Dating back to 2006, the LA Chargers have owned the Arizona Cardinals. They’ve won 4 out of the last 5 times they’ve played and covered the spread in 3 of those games.
Knowing that, we think we see a lot of passing out of Arizona tonight so we are going to take a prop play as our free play today. We will go with Kyler Murray OVER 218.5 passing yards. If they fall behind in the game, Murray will have to pass more so it all makes sense, and we think he actually gets close to a 250 yard game here tonight!
