The Houston Texans (6-4) and Dallas Cowboys (3-6) will meet up for Monday Night Football action at AT&T Stadium on November 18 at 8:15 PM ET. Both teams are seeking to break losing skids, with the Texans favored with a point spread at -7.0 (-115).
Houston Texans Betting Preview
The Texans have lost their last two games and are 2-3 over their previous five. They recently suffered a 26-23 loss against the Detroit Lions at home, which should have gone their way given the Lions’ quarterback Jared Goff having five interceptions.
They came out strong with a 10-0 first quarter lead and were up 23-7 at the half. However, they failed to score at all in the second half. C.J. Stroud had a solid performance of 19 completions out of 33 with 233 yards, a touchdown, but had two interceptions.

The Texans are averaging 22.4 points per game and rank 17th in the league. Defensively they allow 22.6 points from opponents, ranking 19th. This does not give them room for error in close matchups, like their recent loss against the Lions.
Dallas Cowboys Betting Preview
The Cowboys have lost four straight games and are also going to be without starting quarterback Dak Prescott again, as he recently underwent surgery for his hamstring. Their latest defeat was a 34-6 blowout against the Philadelphia Eagles.
They struggled in production on offense, as they had 146 total yards and five turnovers. Cooper Rush filled in for Prescott and will be the starter in the upcoming showdown against the Texans. Against the Eagles, he completed 13 of 23 passes for 45 yards.
Rush will be entering his eighth start behind Prescott filling in, which he has a solid record. However, this is the first time he has had to bounce back after a loss.
The Cowboys are 23rd in the league averaging 19.7 points per game. Their defense has given up 28.8 points a game and ranks second to last overall. As if their offense was not already hurting, their defense has been terrible.
