The Washington Commanders flat out steamrolled the #1 seed in the NFC, Detroit Lions, last week, winning 45-31 in what seemed like a easy win for them. The Lions turned the ball over entirely too mamy times and the Commanders just never took their foot off the gas pedal.
This week, they have to find another level if they want to get to the Super Bowl with Rookie QB Jayden Daniels. Playing in Philadelphia is never an easy thing to do. Fans are tough, it will be cold and they are experienced in getting to the Super Bowl.
Can the Rookie lead them one more game and get them into the Super Bowl? Only time will tell…..
Philadelphia Eagles Preview
The Philadelphia Eagles are one home win away from playing in the Super Bowl. They got here by knocking off the LA Rams 28-22 in a game that seemed like the Eagles dominated but was much closer in the end.
The focus was on Saquan Barkley, who rushed 26 times for 205 yards and 2 touchdowns. Barkley has been a beast and is running over defenses, which is a weakness of Washington!

With these two being divisional foes, they play each other two times a each season. This year, they split their matchups with each team winning at home.
The Commanders won on December 22, 2024, by a score of 36-33. One month prior, the Eagles won 26-18 in Philadelphia.
Handicapping Pick and Preview
This should be a very good game and with the line being 6, it’s actually a hard game to handicap. My thoughts on this are to totally forget about the line and first figure out who will win the game. Most times, you figure out who will win the game, you figure out who is the right side to wager on!
With that said, I’m not sure either way, who will win or who will cover BUT one play that we do like here is a prop play on the Washington Commanders to score at least 21.5 points.
We get +100 on this prop and let’s face it, even if they lose, they still should post 22 points. They have reached 22 points in 14 of their 19 games this season, including the playoffs. They scored it in one of the two games vs. Phily but the offense has really improved since Nov. 14.
