NFL Preview: Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans (3-11) seek to end their losing streak when they face the Indianapolis Colts (6-8) on Sunday, December 22 at 1:00 PM ET at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts are slight favorites being at home with a point spread at -3.5 (-110).

Tennessee Titans Betting Preview

The Titans have lost their last three games, but they are having a horrendous season. Their latest defeat was a 37-27 outing against the Cincinnati Bengals.

They started the game with Will Levis, but decided to put in Mason Rudolph after Levis made eight completions and three interceptions. Rudolph will be getting the start for this matchup. He finished the game with 21 of 26 completions for 209 yards, two touchdowns, and had an interception.

Both teams had similar yardage and first down, but the turnovers were horrendous. While the Bengals had four, the Titans posted six (Levis did have three, but this will likely not show up in the upcoming matchup).

The Titans are averaging 18.1 points a game and rank 27th in the league, but could look slightly different with Rudolph under center. Their defense has been allowing 27.1 points a game, ranking 29th. This ratio is obviously not going to cut it, which puts them in a bad position to win.

Indianapolis Colts Betting Preview

The Colts have won two out of their last five games and need some positive momentum at home. Their latest battle was a 31-13 defeat against the Denver Broncos.

This matchup was in their favor until the fourth quarter, where they allowed the Broncos to burst with a 21-0 run to end the game. Anthony Richardson had another

average performance, as he completed 17 of 38 passes for 172 yards and two interceptions. He will need to be more precise if they want to win.

They may have accumulated more yards (310) than the Broncos (193), but the turnovers killed them. They had five total and forced three on the Broncos. They cannot afford to have these many issues against the Titans.

The Colts are averaging 20.0 points a game and rank 23rd. Their defense is allowing 23.5 points a game and ranks 21st. This margin is still negative, but it is more appealing in comparison to the Titans.

MyBookie offers you the best Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts betting odds, favoring the Colts by 3.5-points. According to matchup predictions, this matchup is close on paper with the Colts having a 49.9 percent chance of winning.

Both teams have had terrible luck with turnovers in their latest matchups. However, the Colts look more appealing at home and should be able to close it out to cover the spread.

Final Pick: Indianapolis Colts -3.5 (-110)
