The Kansas City Chiefs are back in the Super Bowl for the 5th time in 6 seasons! Last year, they knocked off the San Francisco 49ers 25-22. The year prior, as we mentioned earlier, they beat the Eagles 38-35.
They will now be going for the three-peat with win over the Eagles. If they are able to do so, they will be the first time in Super Bowl History to pull off such a historic accomplishment.
The Chiefs got here by beating the Buffalo Bills in a close game, 32-29. They got the 1 point cover and the game went over the posted number. Much like that game, the Chiefs are favorited by 1 point here with our friends at MyBookie, and once again, the total is the same at 49 points.

For the Eagles, this will be the 3rd time they have appeared in the Super Bowl in the past 8 seasons. They won Super Bowl LII (52) in 2018 by knocking off the New England Patriots.
The Eagles come into the Super Bowl off a 55-23 blowout win over divisional rivals Washington Commanders. The Eagles got the cover (-6) and went over the posted number by themselves!
Eagles have now won 5 straight games and 9 of the last 10 overall. They are 17-3 SU on the season and 13-7 ATS.
Handicapping Preview
There are a few things that stand out in this game. Running backs “normally” do not fair well here in the Super Bowl. The world is watching Saquon Barkley and interested in seeing if he can continue his hot streak but the Chiefs are tough to run against.
On the other side, the Chiefs just find ways to win. They don’t blow out many teams but they get the job done! Patrick Mahomes should pair up with Travis Kelce and nip and pick yardage to eat the clock.
We look for the Chiefs and Eagles to play close but in the end, it will be the KC Chiefs that get the job done! We won’t mess with the line, as it is just 1 point, makes much more sense to just play the moneyline.
