Chicago Bears Betting Preview

The Bears are aiming to stop their losing streak, which is currently at five games after a 30-27 overtime loss against the Minnesota Vikings. This was a closely contested battle that went back and forth, especially after the Bears forced overtime with a 17-point fourth quarter performance.

Caleb Williams played an excellent game, as he completed 32 of 47 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns. He also led them in rushing with six carries for 33 yards. He will need to rely on more help from his running backs to carry the weight here if they want to succeed against the Lions.

They accumulated 398 yards and committed just one turnover. Their defense allowed 452 yards but was able to force one turnover. If you are a Bears fan, you could not be happier at their performance in this battle.

The Bears have been piling on 20.1 points a game and rank 22nd in the league. Their defense has allowed 19.7 points a game and ranks eighth for that average. This is not a lot of room for error, but at least their defense has been solid.

Detroit Lions Betting Preview

The Lions have been playing phenomenal football this season and have won their last nine games. Their latest success was a 24-6 blowout over the Indianapolis Colts.

They were up 14-6 at the half, but would later go on to play stronger defense and turn up their offense to push ahead. Jared Goff was consistent with his 26 out of 36 completions for 269 yards. Jahmyr Gibbs rushed 21 times for 90 yards and had two touchdowns to put them at a good pace.

Neither team committed any turnovers, but the Lions put up 390 yards, 26 first downs, and had possession of the ball for about 37 minutes. Their defense was strong in holding the Colts to 268 yards and 11 first downs.

The Lions are the best in the league in averaging 32.7 points per game. On defense they rank second in allowing 16.6 points per matchup. This is a beautiful spread and entertaining to watch.
