Thursday Night NFL Preview: Minnesota Vikings vs. LA Rams

The Minnesota Vikings will look to bounce back from their first-season loss when they take on the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night of NFL Football.
This game will take place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Kickoff is set for 8:15 PM ET and can be seen on Amazon TV.
The oddsmakers at Bookmaker have made the Vikings 3-point road favorites in this game, with the total set at 48 points.
Minnesota Vikings Preview
The Minnesota Vikings were undefeated heading into last week, but they ran into their NFC North rivals, the Detroit Lions. The Lions came out on top 31-29, taking down the previously unbeaten Vikes.
The Vikings’ offense has been very good this year, but you can’t discount their defense either. They’ve held teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Houston, Texas, New York Giants, and New York Jets to under 17 points.
Last week, they ran into a better team and a hungry team. Expect the Vikings to bounce back this week, even on the road, against a LA Rams team that may be without some key players.
LA Rams Preview
The LA Rams enter this game with a 2-4 SU and 1-5 ATS record. They have struggled on offense this year, partly because they have been without their core player, Cooper Kupp.
Rumor has it that Kupp is able to suit up this week, but it would not be shocking to see them rest him, as he has been the talk of trade rumors all week. Many teams are interested in the elite playmaker, and we could see him part ways with the Rams before kickoff!
The Rams offense has only scored more than 20 points once this year, a divisional matchup with the San Francisco 49ers. They scored 27 points in that game to get the 3-point win over the Niners.

We will return to picking one of our team’s total plays here. We like the Minnesota Vikings to go over 24.5 points. The bikes have gone over this number in four out of their six games this year, and even in their loss, they still scored 29 points. The only game they didn’t go over was against San Fran and the New York Jets; ironically, they scored 23 points in both games.
On the road this year, they’ve opened it up a little more, scoring 31 and 28 points. There is no reason why this team can’t score 25 points on Thursday night in prime time.
