Tampa Bay Lightning Betting Preview: The Lightning Need to Refocus

This is only the Lightning’s third three-game losing streak all season. While it is not quite time to begin to get nervous, the Lightning have not been playing good hockey in these three games.

The Lightning have been one of the best offensive teams in hockey this season, averaging 3.38 goals per game. In their last five games, they are down to only 3.0 a game.

Leasing the way for the offense is the veteran, Steven Stamkos. He has a team-high 63 points, scoring 27 goals and assisting on 36 others.

Victor Hedman is the only other player on the team that has made it over 50 total points. He is second on the team with 57 points, scoring 14 goals, and assisting on 43 others.

The real reason for a majority of their success is the play of their goaltender, Andrei Vasilevskiy. His record stands at 30-11-2 and is giving up 2.43 goals per game.
