Quick Picks: Rafael Nadal 9/2

Coming up in early July, the Men’s Single Tournament that is widely known as the greatest in all of professional tennis will take place. The 2017 Wimbledon from London in the United Kingdom will take place. This is one of the Grand Slam events, and is played on grass. The schedule for the Wimbledon starts on July 3rd, and the final is slated for Sunday July 16, 2017. Let’s take a look at our Early Preview, Pick and Predictions for the 2017 Men’s Wimbledon Event.

Roger Federer 5/2

The 35 year old professional since 1995 still remains as the top tennis player in all of the world. From Switzerland, Federer won this event four straight seasons starting in 2003. He has 6 titles at Wimbledon, but has not won it since 2012. Look for Federer to make a run, maybe one of his final chances, as age catches up with him. Federer is 5/2 odds to win it all.

Andy Murray 3/1

The defending champion has won the title in the UK twice. Murray has a singles title this season, at the end of 30. Murray has 45 career titles, but is coming off a head scratching loss in his most recent battle. Andy Murray comes into Wimbledon listed at 3/1 odds to win it all.

Rafael Nadal 9/2

Nadal has won Wimbledon two times in his career, and those came in 2008 and 2010. Nadal has been red hot this season winning four singles titles. In his career he has 73, and has nearly 850 career wins. Nadal will certainly be in the mix, much like he is everytime he shows up at Wimbledon.

Novak Djokovic 6/1

The 30 year old from Serbia has been a professional tennis player since 2003. Djokovic has just 67 career singles titles, and one this season. Djokovic is a three time winner of the big tournament at Wimbledon. He has the skill set, but it seems like he has struggled recently.

Milos Raonic 12/1

The Canadian is 5th on the odds list. Raonic is a relative unknown, but do not sleep on his talent. He has great skill on the court, and the 26 year old can fly. He has won 22 matches this season, and has 8 career singles titles. At 12/1, it’s the first player listed that has never won a Wimbledon title.

In the end, we are ready to make our pick. These five are the five favorites to win the 2017 Wimbledon, but in the end, we are going to take Rafael Nadal. He is ready to claim his fifth title, and he seems to be playing great tennis right now. At 9/2 odds, bet Rafael Nadal to win the 2017 Wimbledon.
