This week in addition to handicapping UFC Fight Night 139, we are also looking at ACB 90: Moscow.
From a betting standpoint, this card is just as good, if not better than, the UFC card as it provides a little bit of a better value on the odds we are getting. There are several fights on this card that we like that we feel the oddsmakers made mistakes on and we can take advantage of!
Let’s take a look at what is on the card for ACB 90: Moscow.

ACB 90: Moscow Handicapping
Our feature handicapping fight for ACB 90: Moscow is the main event between Heavyweights Sergey Belostenniy and Mukhamad Vakhaev. This fight is slated for five 5-minute rounds in the Heavyweight division. Let’s take a look at both of these fighters.
Mukhamad Vakhaev is 6-4-1 overall and enters this fight on a 4 fight win streak. Vakhaev is a Russian striker that is 28-years old. A lot has been put into and talked about this 4 fight win streak but when I dig a bit deeper into his record, we find that the 4 fights were against opponents with a combined record of just 14-16-4 overall. Looking a bit deeper, you will find that Vakhaev has 11 pro fights but only one of those fights was against a competitor that had a winning record.
Sergey Belostenniy is still young in his career with just 6 fights in his pro career. He sports a 5-1 record but the difference between him and Vakhaev is the fact that of Belostenniy’s 6 opponents, 4 of them have winning records. Belostenniy has finished his last 2 fights, both by KO within 2 rounds. Belostenniy is a heavy-handed striker that has KO’d 3 of his 5 opponents.
Looking at this fight on paper and after watching some film on both fighters, I’m sold that the oddsmakers got this one really wrong. The oddsmakers have made Mukhamad Vakhaev -165 favorites and are putting a return on Sergey Belostenniy +125. First off, we are going to throw 4 units on Belostenniy in this fight but if you are going to play it, do it now, do it early, because I totally expect by the time this fight goes off, these two will be near even and potentially, we could even see Belostenniy the favorite by the time the fight takes place.
