A middleweight bout in the early prelims is headed your way on June 6th. This event in the UFC 250, will be featuring a showdown between Ian Heinisch and Gerald Meerschaert.

Potential Winning Pick

Both of these guys are looking to continue adding wins to their resumes. They both present some really good cases to take away a victory here. Are the odds justified?

This one looks like it could be a toss up. Heinisch has been great so far, and I would like to have bet on him. But, he has a weakness in his takedown defense and he is going up against a very good Meerschaert with his ground game.

Meerschaert needs to keep a watch on his significant strikes that he takes on. He poses a weakness there if Heinisch is able to deliver one hit after another and he cannot counter.

Overall, I like Meerschaert for the victory even though I would have picked Heinisch on a different day. His aggressive takedowns and submissions should be able to wear down Heinisch.
