This is the moment that many poker players have been expecting all around the world. Some players begin to save money to play WSOP events, others make notes of the different tournaments they want to attend and some even start to make travel arrangements this early in the year.

I know a lot of poker players and most of them, like in many other things, wait until the last minute to prepare for this massive event. But I guess there are probably a few players that are actually very organized and start planning as soon as the schedule is released.

The WSOP this year kicks off on May 30th and will run non-stop until July 17th, almost 2 months of poker fun and excitement. The venue is once again the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are 74 events in the schedule, including 8 new events. For the complete schedule, click here.

For those of us that have attended this great event the atmosphere is awesome. The sponsors go all-in with entertainment not just for the players but for virtually anyone that wants to join the party.  And the same goes for the tournament entries, there is something for everyone with buy-ins ranging from $333 all the way up to $111,111.
